Owner / Acquisitions Editor / Interviewer BJ Bourg is a career law enforcement officer and mystery writer who has had over a hundred short stories accepted in over a dozen print and online venues, including Futures Mystery Magazine, Writers Post Journal, Bewildering Stories, Flashing in the Gutters, Apollo's Lyre, Mysterical-E and Flashshot. In addition to print and online magazines, he has stories included in the Amazon Shorts program ("Severed Relationship" and "Winter's Whisper") and another called "The Detective's Wife" that's available through Chippewa Publishing. His stories have been Top Ten Finishers in the P & E Poll and one of his stories was a Finalist in the 2006 Derringer Awards. In addition, two of his stories garnered Honorable Mention in the AHMM Mysterious Photo Contest. His short work appears in the following books: "Absent the Soul", "The EX Factor", "Stories of Strength", and "Seven By Seven". Kevin R. Tipple Assistant Editor / Reviewer / Columnist Known to his always changing apartment neighbors as "that weirdo who always sits outside on the porch and reads", Kevin will read just about anything except horror. Some of his short stories have appeared in print in such magazines as Lynx Eye, Show and Tell, and Starblade, among others. In his spare time when he isn't fooling with his short stories, Kevin is still plugging away at his first novel--a mystery. Kevin also likes walks on the beach, sunsets, fishing and, like any beauty contestant, longs for world peace and an end to poverty and disease everywhere. He also is annoyed that the movie vision promise of "2001: A Space Odyssey" never came about.
