Freedom's Prayer by Danny B Bourg
Dear Heavenly Father, in the midst of horror Give us the grace to see tomorrow Strengthen our hearts, to face the pain May the works of our hands, be not in vain
Give peace to the families, of those missing The names of victims, they keep on listing Give closure to those, of the bodies recovered May you bless this nation, for all who've suffered
Please give our leaders, the wisdom to guide That they take your vision, and hold it inside May we get justice, for the crime at hand That our country will not fell, this fear of man
Show the world, that our prayers do not rust United are we, and in God we trust We are brought to our knees, prayers towards Heaven Since the tragedy, the days are seven
In your name we pray, we do it together To help us deal, with this attack of terror May we still be a nation, with the good will for all men Be with us forever, we ask. Amen
