Freedom's Domain by Danny B Bourg
America the beautiful, thou tarnished child Caught in the ashes, of men gone wild A piece of your landscape, made to fall But, Oh! Lady Liberty, she still stands tall
Fear not America, you are so strong The backbone of society, carried others too long I know your heart, a giver to many But for your kindness, the scars run plenty
So many years, we have embraced freedom's soil Now we find ourselves, caught in this toil You have showed the world, united we stand For no one can tear apart, this bond of man
So many of your children, tragically died If only time can erase, these tears we've cried Your front door a welcome mat, made for peace But taken advantage of, your children decease
Today I am prouder than ever, to be American born To hold high the stars and stripes, our nation has worn Because in crisis, this nation rises so tall When things around us, crumble and fall
