August 14, 2008 Welcome to the Summer 2008 issue of Mouth Full of Bullets! Howdy folks! The Summer 2008 Issue is finally here. I apologize to all the readers and writers out there who've been patiently waiting for it to appear. Although it's late, it's a great issue. We have some MFOB regulars in this issue, including John M. Floyd, Jack Hardway, and Stephen D. Rogers. In addition, there are ten new faces around the place. I want to extend a warm welcome to these writers and poets, and I want to thank them for submitting their wonderful work to MFOB. Here are their names: Jac Weimer, Teresa Hubley, Helen H. Fanick, Robert Petyo, Christa M. Miller, Sati Benes, DBA Lehane, James R. Tate, C. M. Clifton, and Regina Lawson. Without wonderful writers like these folks, MFOB would be nothing.
"Apples" is Jac Weimer's first published story. I consider it an immense honor to be the first to publish one of her stories, and I expect great things from this new writer. Best of luck to her as she heads off to college.
As most of y'all might already know, I've been forced to shut down the print version of MFOB. Although it was a very difficult decision to make, the reason was simple: I no longer have enough hours in a day to get it done. I sincerely apologize to all those I've let down. If anyone has any questions, feel free to contact me at editor@mouthfullofbullets.com.
Happy Birthday Gracie!
